Safety Training Curriculum
PITS delivers Liberia’s most comprehensive road user safety curriculum, covering all categories of mobility:
- Pedestrian Safety

- Seatbelt use, safe boarding, responsible riding, and emergency behavior.
- Tricycle Safety (Kids)

- Bicycle Safety (Youth & Adults)
- Helmet use, lane discipline, signaling, and night time riding safety.
- Scooter Safety
- Students completing the PITS IDC are eligible to apply for the International Driver’s License (IDL) authorized under the United Nations Convention on Road Traffic.

- Motorcycle Safety
- Rider training, helmet enforcement, defensive riding, and Liberia’s motorcycle regulations.
- Three Wheeler Vehicle Safety
- Commercial and private tricycle operation, passenger handling, and road compliance.
- Light Duty Vehicle Safety
- Sedans, SUVs, pickups — aligned with Liberia’s Road Traffic Regulations and global standards.
- Heavy Duty Vehicle Safety
- Trucks, buses, and commercial vehicles — focusing on braking systems, load management, and long distance driving.
